Therefore, foreign manufacturers of diesel engines should reduce the low load/no-load operation time as far as possible, and stipulate that the small load should not be lower than the rated power of the unit 25-30, no matter the use of naturally inhaled or supercharged engines.、

2. For supercharged diesel engines, the supercharging pressure is low due to low load and no load. Easy to lead to the sealing effect of the supercharger oil seal (non-contact), the oil into the supercharger chamber, along with the intake into the cylinder;
3. Up to the cylinder part of the oil involved in combustion, part of the oil can not be completely burned, in the valve, inlet, piston top, piston ring and other places to form a carbon deposit, and part of the exhaust. In this way, the cylinder liner exhaust duct will gradually accumulate oil, will also form carbon deposit;
4. The accumulation of oil in the turbocharger chamber to a certain extent, it will leak out from the joint surface of the supercharger;
Pay attention to the working state in action. Generator in the work, there should be a special person on duty, often pay attention to the possible observation of a series of failures, especially pay attention to the oil pressure, water temperature, oil temperature, voltage, frequency and other important factors change. In addition, it should be noted that sufficient diesel oil should be provided. If the fuel is interrupted during operation, it will objectively cause the shutdown with load, which may lead to the damage of the excitation control system and related components of the generator.
It is strictly prohibited to stop with load. Before each shutdown, it is necessary to gradually cut off the load, and then turn off the output air switch of the generator set, and then slow down the diesel engine to idle state for 3-5 minutes or so before stopping.
