Black smoke from 300 kW diesel generator!

300KW diesel generator has the characteristics of voltage stability, small waveform distortion, excellent transient performance, etc., users in use often encounter some diesel generator exhaust gas is smoking black smoke, but some users do not understand what is the reason, let’s take a look at the factors:

photobank (3)

First, the use of overload. When the diesel generator is seriously overloaded, the diesel fuel injected into the combustion air increases, making the diesel fuel decompose and polymerize into carbon particles under the condition of high temperature and oxygen deficiency, and then discharge into black smoke with the exhaust gas.
Second, the fuel injection pump plunger couple serious wear. The gap between the plunger and the plunger is only 3~5 m. If the effect of the diesel filter is poor, there will be early wear and tear, causing oil leakage, and the incomplete combustion of fuel and black smoke.
Third, poor compression. When increasing the compression ratio, it is necessary to ensure that the compression stroke has good compression. The compressed temperature exceeds the natural temperature of diesel oil (200~300℃), otherwise it will smoke because it cannot burn completely quickly.
Fourth, each cylinder oil injection is uneven. The normal operation of multi-cylinder diesel engine requires the same amount of fuel supplied to each cylinder. When the amount of fuel supplied to each cylinder is too large, the combustion is incomplete due to insufficient air, which leads to intermittent black smoke exhaust. At this time can be used to check and judge the cylinder with a large amount of oil supply by cylinder oil breaking method.
